Centrally located in Hamilton’s downtown and within walking distance to their commuter rail station, Causeway purchased the site from the Hamilton Development Corporation. The project is designed to Passive House standards featuring all electric HVAC systems, thick insulated walls, triple glazed windows, and a roof-top solar array that produces 60% of the building’s energy use. Half of the apartments are reserved for families earning eighty percent of the area median income.
