Community vision: Create desperately needed affordable housing for Chelsea while cleaning up a long-time brownfield site, creating new greenspace, and improving access to the Mill Creek.

Causeway acquired the site, partnered with The Neighborhood Developers, and led the design, permitting, construction, and lease-up, creating 38 income-restricted apartments and a new publicly accessible park offering access to the Mill Creek. Utilizing triple-glazed windows, advanced HVAC systems, and thick insulated exterior walls, the project is designed and built to Passive House standards utilizing 95% less energy than a comparable conventionally constructed building.
