Dave leads the work on acquisition opportunities, permitting, and construction. Dave moved to Boston in 2008. As a Director of Development for Mitchell Properties, he oversaw the development activities and managed the firm's advisory work until 2012, when he started Traggorth Companies LLC to continue developing high-quality mixed-income and mixed-use projects in urban environments. In 2022, Traggorth Companies became Causeway Development. He graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and earned his Master’s in Urban Planning and Community Development at the University of Maryland School of Architecture. Dan leads the financial structuring, analysis, and sourcing of development projects for Causeway Development. Dan has particularly deep knowledge in bringing a blend of public and private investment to projects, including conventional construction debt, historic tax credit equity, new markets tax credit equity, low income housing tax credit equity, mezzanine financing, and private equity.
